Not much has changed here since Top-Notch opened in 1942: wood-paneled walls, seating at booths and tables, and a bar/counter that faces the kitchen. Burgers star on the menu, from the basic ''beefburger'' in quarter-, half- and three-quarter-pound varieties to specialty burgers like the Western (cheese, bacon, grilled green pepper, barbecue sauce) and the Mexican (jalapeno-jack cheese, salsa, guacamole, green pepper). Other offerings include fries, pork chops, salads, shakes and malts.
