In Short
With the name meaning ''young man'' or ''youth'' in Japanese, this Lakeview storefront features natural wood fixtures and tight space bounded by a forest mural in the back. In addition to the fresh fish that is flown in daily, the restaurant (a sister of across-the-street neighbor pingpong) also serves ''Japas,'' a Japanese take on tapas. Among the offerings are a jalapeno-miso soup, Gomae spinach spring rolls and a red snapper sashimi with truffle oil.
