In Short
Beyond the front takeout counter and open kitchen, a dining area is decked with sculptures and mock cathedral windows, mimicking an Italian village. Dishes are reliable and reasonably priced. Favorites include veal parmigiana, plus generously sized sandwiches and pasta plates. But the highlight is the pizza--pan, Sicilian (called ''Spingione'') or New York style. The plain cheese pizza is delicious--a crust that folds just right, seasoned tomato sauce and a touch of oregano.
