The menu at this neighborhood mainstay highlights classic Thai specialties like spring rolls, satay, curries, fried rice and noodle dishes, as well as a few showier chef's specialties, like red curry salmon and ''Orchid'' chicken, served in a halved pineapple. House-made coconut ice cream is the dessert favorite. A small dining area in front has a few sunken tables surrounded by colorful pillows, plus a handful of regular tables; a narrow hallway gives way to a second, larger dining room in back. Soft lighting sets a romantic tone, but this spot is also popular with groups.
