The Scene
Don't let an exterior that alludes to generic chain restaurant fare make you miss this eatery. The dining room's dark woods and flagstone and its brick walls create a warm, inviting atmosphere accented with soft lighting and booth seating. The sophisticated piano bar doubles as a dining area for smokers.
The Food
Ethnically accented, freshly prepared American cuisine is artfully presented and served by an attentive staff. Begin with chicken skewers, coated in almonds, sesame seeds and a hint of rosemary, and served with mandarin orange and Thai dipping sauces. The gently cooked hickory-grilled shrimp are lightly spiced and accompanied by a tangy remoulade. On the lighter side, try the perfectly steamed sea bass served on a bed of fresh braised spinach. Hearty eaters will love the slab of fall-off-the-bone tender ribs, lightly slathered in barbecue sauce. Forgo the average Caesar for the house salad with balsamic vinegar dressing.
