In Short
While plenty of OTP residents make nightly trips to the city to dine out, it is rare to find a spot that draws an ITP crowd out to the burbs. But this family-run, hole-in-the-wall is beginning to reverse the trend, as in-towners caravan to their two locations in Lawrenceville. Expect Ricardo Ullio-style appetizers like arancini (think hushpuppies stuffed with risotto) to add some authenticity to the usual Italian neighborhood menu. The pizza is our city's closest thing to what you get in NY, with that magical combination of gooey cheese, a crispy crust and in appropriate form is available by the slice or the pie. Not to be outdone, the mouth-watering cheesecake, made by the owners' daughter, is alone worth a trip.
