In Short
You may need a homing beacon to find the ''Lumber Yard,'' but don't let that deter you from venturing to the industry-laden West Side. Stuffed into the lumber-loft development, Bone Garden is a bright and bold with Day of the Dead-inspired décor, and feels a bit like dining on Halloween night. The menu is mostly a la carte Mexican street food--individual tacos, empanadas, and tamales--good for one and perfect for sharing. The pork tamales are served proper in a corn husk with a healthy dose of cornmeal, while the brisket enchiladas encase a zesty mole sauce. If greasy isn't your thing, avoid the slick sopes and empanadas. Service is easily-confused, yet somehow endearingly adds to the relaxed atmosphere.
