In Short
Theatrical, urban and designed to impress by the Johnson Studios, this striking restaurant is situated on the edge of Piedmont Park. An 80-foot curved counter frames a bustling open kitchen and leads to a towering wine display. Enormous windows offer views of the park and the Midtown skyline. The bar, crowded with the neighborhood's young movers and shakers, adds to the restaurant's celebratory buzz. The menu centers on unique, yet approachable dishes. A special emphasis on small plates, One offers two and three course sampler platters--a perfect for sharing between conversations and sips of red wine. Those wanting to go the entree route, grilled hanger steak with parmesan-herb fries has remained a menu staple while a snappy burger and wood-fired pizza are easy-to-like options. The menu gets complex in just the right places, injecting truffles, Chinese mustard and dry mango salsa where you'd least expect it.
