In Short
Steeped in history, the sweeping dining room takes its cues from its surroundings. An intricate stacked-wood wall echoes railroad ties (the Beltline railway runs past the building). Rough brick contrasts with crisp white linens. The giant chandelier overhanging the dining room resembles a leafless tree festooned with Christmas lights. It's elegant but offbeat, enhanced by unexpected earthy touches. Every table is filled most nights, with Ansley Park matrons dining alongside Castleberry Hill hipsters. Steaks are from Allen Brothers of Chicago, and to a one they're perfection. If you can stomach the $45 price tag, the 22-ounce bone-in ribeye may just be the best steak you've ever tasted. Ribeye makes another fine showing in a carpaccio appetizer; buttery ribbons of steak spring to life with a forkful of peppery arugula. Don't forget home-style sides like cauliflower gratin and fried okra. Seafood dishes, such as a whole bronzini basted in garlic butter, don't disappoint either.
