The Scene
Steaming warm towels appear before the meal; cold towels and hot tea appear afterward. Small booths, suggestive of rice paper walls, make up most of the seating. Authentic or not, Sushi-Huku satisfies the Asian fantasies of Westerners and Japanese alike.
The Food
Some of the freshest, most authentic sushi in Atlanta is served here. Maguro (tuna) sashimi shines with a nearly florescent hue. Ebi (shrimp) is simultaneously crisp and tender. Tempura, both in one of the steaming noodle broths and on its own, transforms the skill of frying into a light, graceful art. For something a little more exotic, try one of the appetizer assortments of Japanese pickled vegetables.
