In Short
Summer nights in Atlanta: Braves games, smog alerts, packed house at Neighbor's. This hugely popular deck feels like a party on someone's front porch. Despite its parking lot view, evenings are hopping. Get there early to snag a coveted table and beat the line of lively college kids making the rounds. Lunchtime tends to draw nearby professionals looking for an office escape. Unless it's raining, no one seems to care that the inside--with beat-up booths and arcade games--is really just an afterthought. Sandwiches, salads and appetizers are predictable; pizzas and pot stickers are unfortunate. Neighbor's opens early for breakfast on the weekend, so while the previous night's crew nurses a hangover, young couples and families come to soak up the sun.
