I eat panang at every Thai place I try. It's my measuring stick. This is the best panang in Atlanta. Good service, small spot. Highly recommend.read more

The Scene
You'd never guess that a post-office decor could attract such a loud, lively and youthful Virginia-Highland crowd--but it does. Traditional Thai dishes and a charming outdoor patio help.
The Food
Ma Li is a solid entry in the growing ranks of Atlanta Thai restaurants. The Yin and Yan wontons filled with a ricotta-cheese mixture come lightly crispy with a terrific sweet-and-sour dipping sauce. There's also chicken wings stuffed with shrimp and veggies. The seafood pad thai is generous in both flavor and portion, but the winner is clearly the seafood in a claypot: Shrimp, scallops and fish are sauteed with Thai jelly noodles, spinach and a black mushroom garlic sauce--the end result is smoky, complex and wonderful.
