Food's gross mainly. The burgers are made of meat. The beer's alright. It is tad BS to try to sell itself as a real dive bar. It's in a shopping center in...read more

The Scene
This dimly lit, neon-beer sign cluttered Midtown bar houses a diverse crowd of rowdies, serious drinkers and patrons looking for a pre or post-movie cocktail. Once inside this popular hangout, tucked in the crowded Midtown Promenade strip mall, a long comfortable bar and dining room greet you. To the right, find an even larger game room with dartboards, foosball, pinball machines, a pool table and an air hockey game. Service is no-nonsense but good.
The Draw
Go there for well-priced pitchers and serious boozing, but stay to grab some top-notch bar chow and to catch up on an ole' English football game. Serious hamburgers and melts are at the top of the grub list, followed closely by pitchers of tater tots (available with chili, cheddar cheese, onions or all the way), respectable nachos and creamy, garlicky hummus. In the summer, a patio spills out the front of the bar making for some decent people watching.
