With its exposed brick and rotating artwork, this converted industrial loft has the look of a chic gallery. Plopped on couches and tables, a mix of designers and artsy types surf on their laptops, taking advantage of free Wi-Fi. ''Your home away from the office'' is how Octane bills itself. The comforts are a draw, plus strong coffee and good tunes. Also, sandwiches and snacks will satisfy the munchies.
