The Scene
Family friendly and laid-back, Six Feet Under is an affordably priced seafood shack for landlocked Atlantans. The spacious rooftop deck offers killer Midtown skyline vistas from surprisingly comfy wrought iron furniture and the sunlit first-floor interiors are bright and welcoming; there's also a well-designed bar with four big screen televisions. The staff of mostly tattooed and pierced servers is friendly and attentive.

The Food
The restaurant serves up serious pub grub, with a raw bar, steamed shellfish, po'boys and generous platters and baskets of seafood. Spicy ''rat toes,'' baked jalapeños stuffed with shrimp and wrapped in bacon, are insipid compared to the refreshing, sweet/hot seafood gazpacho brimming with calamari and shrimp. Juicy fried catfish dusted in light, spiced cornmeal is impeccable, as is the fried okra. Skip the dry little neck clams and try the BBQ salmon, blackened and served with a smoky relish. A mixed berry pie--strawberry, blackberry and rhubarb--is as good as Grandma's.
