The Scene
One part European cafe, one part posh nightspot, this is a welcome addition to the Buckhead scene. Young professionals in their hippest garb try hard to look like they're not trying. In the muted light, Prada-clad gals exchange names and numbers with clean-cut chaps. On temperate evenings, the outside patio is as crowded as the wooden bar--but even in the fresh air, the tobacco smell lingers.
The Draw
At East Andrews, patience is a virtue. From the initial wait at the red-carpeted entrance to jockeying for a drink-ordering position, instant gratification is a pipe dream. Yet guests still flock to see and be seen and mingle with other 20-somethings. A robust European-style menu, with its shareable appetizers such as Southwestern egg rolls and hummus, is as tempting as the bar's signature martini, expertly (and strongly) poured.
