A sleepy brick cottage that's known for its tree-shaded patio, Basil's offers a pleasant breather from the hustle-bustle of Buckhead. A dog-eared selection of jazz favorites warms the small candlelit main room. The Mediterranean menu is a showcase of flavor from a lemony hummus starter served with lightly charred triangles of pita bread to beef carpaccio sandwiches.
