The Scene
There's no velvet rope, but the dark-tinted doors, dangling chandeliers and sheer curtains signal that Hollywood royalty, like Ashton Kutcher and his L.A. entourage, may feel right at home here. Glamour pusses stride along the sleek bar, but it's so dim you have to squint to spy any VIP scenesters. Ivory leather curved booths offer a bit of space and privacy. Frazzled black-clad servers dart around the room, attempting to keep up with the background techno beats.
The Food
The mostly Italian menu is divvied into small sampler plates and main entrees. As an appetizer or a main course, handmade gnocchi, drenched in a pesto sauce, are plump, sweet and filling. Lightly seared scallops scampi surround a hearty lobster risotto cake. The signature osso buco dish doesn't disappoint with succulent braised veal firmly planted on a bed of saffron risotto. For a truly decadent finish, opt for the banana split.
