The Scene
A tiny open kitchen, a tinier bar and rows of dark, heavily varnished tables are all comfortably squeezed into this attractive shotgun space near the Cotton Mill lofts. Distressed support beams and rough, exposed brick combine with the usual assortment of Navajo artifacts and small Southwestern-themed prints to create a space that's inviting and warm. Service is attentive and extremely friendly.
The Food
Familiar and upscale Southwestern dishes mostly succeed at this popular Cabbagetown spot. Highlights include tasty shredded pork tacos, comforting cayenne fried chicken and rich, spicy posole (Mexican hominy stew). Crawfish Diablo pasta--a generous helping of crawfish with linguine in a mellow chili-cream sauce--is also a big winner. Shrimp and tuna seviche gets a nice kick from its lime and cider vinegar marinade. For dessert, rich chocolate mousse hits the spot.
