The Scene
Everything about this Italian mainstay screams charm: The cozy bungalow location just out of range of Buckhead hubbub; wooden beams that warm the dining room of white-clothed tables; feisty, yet gracious, servers full of opinions. Ringleader and head charmer Marco Betti, whose family also owns a restaurant of the same name in Tuscany, knows how to ease diners into the mood for a relaxed pace meal.
The Food
The menu doesn't vary much with the seasons, but there's always something that fits the weather. During the chilly months, robust osso buco (braised veal shank with roasted potatoes) ranks as one of the finest dishes in the city. In the summer, knowing patrons start with classic Caprese salad, then feast on the sprightly bow-tie pasta with jumbo lump crabmeat in deceptively silky white-wine sauce. White Zolfini beans drizzled with fruity olive oil are an Atlanta legend for good reason.
