In Short
One of the city's best excuses to get introduced to Indian food, this New Deli-inspired bistro does pitch-perfect presentations of native staples and vegetarian options. Goat curry, chicken tikka masala or blazing-hot desi wings are scarfed up in the lunch buffet or for a sit-down dinner. Though they sport a sizable selection of vegetarian alternatives, do note that many aren't vegan-friendly. Unique desserts like Indian ice cream and mango cheesecake are much better than some Indian restaurant's skimpy selections. Stopping in on Friday or Saturday nights for the hypnotically hip-shaking belly dancers is a real delight with friends or that special someone. Pull up a pillow and enjoy the show.
