In Short
A step above the kind of place where you hop off your skateboard for a plain slice and a Coke, Everybody's doubles as a neighborhood standby and a well-behaved college hangout (no chugging contests). Both the Emory and Highlands locations showcase the classic pizza parlor decorative motif: weird art next to giant beer signs. Everybody's serves thinking-man's pizza that emphasizes ''gourmet'' ingredients and a modest health-food sensibility. The traditional thick-crust pies can be built out with anything from broccoli to pineapple to sesame seeds (though a standard issue sausage pie is ultimately more reliable). More promising still are individually-sized pizza crisps and quaintly innovative pizza sandwiches, both of which sport a consistently crunchy cracker-thin crust. Big winners include the tangy Florentine crisp and the hefty country chicken pizza sandwich with its rustic triple punch of pesto, roasted garlic and goat cheese.
