The Scene
As a grubby party spot, you sure can't beat Paul's: From the dirty handprints on the aquarium to the pocked plank floor and peeling paint, this is a restaurant that screams ''party.'' The crowd ranges from foursomes of seniors to loud, tattooed younger patrons--and you can bet nobody cares what you look like.
The Food
Skip everything on the menu except the boiled shrimp. It's simple; it's delicious, and many of the other dishes are not as good. Especially avoid the baklava
dessert. But again, if you drink enough beer beforehand, it might not be so bad.
