The Scene
Crouched among the clutter of North Dale Mabry Highway, it doesn't look very promising, but once you step inside this nice Korean restaurant, the noise and crazy traffic give way to quiet and order. Two big aquariums dominate the decor, big fish lazily swimming amid the diners. Inexplicably, you relax instantly. Perhaps it's due to the clean, neutral colors and big stretches of rice-paper screens.
The Crowd
The patrons tend toward well-dressed business types, and most of them must be repeat customers because the waitress knew her customers and even what they were likely to order, practically before they sat down.
The Food
The spicy teriyaki chicken comes like a carefully composed painting: Fancy red lacquered tray with several compartments, a separate dish artfully set in each compartment?fried rice, spicy teriyaki chicken, pickled ginger and sauteed veggies, all radiating around a section that held a pale pink, but very hot, horseradish. Diners may make their food as hot as they like.
