The Scene

collection of simple wooden tables and big takeout counter with a minimum of
fuss and no frills. It's a great place to pick up food for an impromptu
picnic.
The Food
Good barbecue, Alabama-style, with tomatoey red sauce and the usual sides: potato salad, macaroni salad, cole slaw and corn of the cob. This is
all-American food with a vengeance. Try the excellent combo plate-chicken,
pork ribs and sliced beef and pork.
