The Scene
Overlooking Old Tampa Bay, this hideaway at the Bayside Marina offers breathtaking views. Inside, minimalist blacks and tans blend with rattan and wicker. Outside, the upper-deck bar bustles with animated singles and a live band, while the lower deck is more relaxed.
The Food
Fist-sized raw oysters are a fresh and flavorful start, as is the seafood margarita with crab, shrimp and salsa shaken in a tin. Mix things up with skewered coconut-crusted chicken kabobs, baked with pineapple and spicy orange salsa, or the Rattled chopped salad with hearts of palm, roasted red pepper, crumbled blue cheese and bacon in mustard vinaigrette, sprinkled with sunflower seeds. The bouillabaisse raw bar and fish grill allows custom seafood creations with a choice of fish, broths and tapenades. Tomato-ginger chutney and wasabi-sour cream accompany pan-seared ahi tuna fajitas. Go ahead and sin with chocolate-stuffed Oreo beignets.
