The Scene
With a pair of street-level indoor bars and outside decks arranged like steps, Ferg's offers plenty of elbow room, all the way up to the third-floor storage and office space. An estimated 25,000 people visited during the 1999 Final Four. But it's not just for sports fans. Musicians and women dressed in black meld with fans watching the big games.
The Food
The grub is much better than most sports bars. From the meaty, seasoned wings and burgers to the smoked fish spread, veggies and shrimp pasta, the kitchen does everything well--takeout is available as well. There's not a particularly overwhelming selection on tap, but there's plenty of bar space to grab a brew or two. Try the tropical frozen drinks along with the seafood dishes upstairs in Sharky's Beach Club and Raw Bar.
