The Scene
View the serpentine cloud wall crowned by engraved sea-green Chinese tiles in the entryway and you know you've entered an exceptional Chinese restaurant. The interior is softly lit with candles, while glass-walled terrace rooms overlooking a lotus pond filled with colorful koi add to the mood. Ming Court's innovative menu offers specialties from diverse regions of China, and often features fresh Florida seafood. The fast and friendly service tends to back up when conventioneers take over the I-Drive strip.

The Food
Request a dim sum menu upon seating and choose from selections like chicken and rice cooked in a lotus leaf or steamed chicken buns. Or begin with a variety of appetizers such as wok-charred Mandarin pot stickers, crispy wontons stuffed with vegetables and cream cheese, and wok-smoked shiitake mushrooms topped with sauteed scallions. The entrees, including a deep-fried chicken breast served with a delicate lemon-tangerine sauce, are as entrancing as the decor.
