Not a bad family-style buffet. It's a Cracker Barrel toned down. Emphasis is on food here and there's plenty. Loved their Greens, Boiled Cabbage, Hot Wings,...read more

Just picture Nels and Harriet Oleson's Mercantile shop from ''Little House on the Prairie.'' Now add rocking chairs all along the wood deck, a car overpass for rainy day dropoffs and pickups, a gift shop and a great buffet bar. Then delete any memories of nasty li'l Nellie.
Who to Bring
Your grandparents. Heck, the Brandon Kiwanis Club meets there religiously at 7am every Thursday. And the kids, of course.
Required Eating
If you need to see a menu, there's a problem. Everyone gets the buffet, not only because it's good but because it features more than 50 items for breakfast, brunch (11am-12pm) and dinner.
Area Locations
Every Plant City resident has tasted the Southern cookin' (1101 Goldfinch Dr.) at least once in their life--it's a rite of passage. The passage has also spread to Brandon, Clearwater (21820 US Hwy. 19), Ruskin (3074 College Ave. E.) and Tarpon Springs (1150 US Hwy. 19).
