Fluffy Belgian waffles--topped with apples, strawberry, bananas, chocolate chips--are the specialty here, but The Waffle Shop's pancakes are nothing to sneeze at. With just as many varieties, and a lot more food per plate, the buttermilk pancakes at this upscale Mall at Millenia diner are so perfect they look fake. Lunch, which is served after 10:30 am, includes black Angus and mini-burgers, paninis, wraps and salads. An open kitchen, huge windows and modern wooden booths and tables in rich hues of purple and caramel set this breakfast nook apart from local greasy spoons.
