In Short
One of three locations (the others are in Thorton Park and Lake Mary) , Dexter's Winter Park restaurant's private and pleasant ambiance is due in part to its placement on a corner blocks away from the busy Park Avenue. Sit outside overlooking the cobblestone street amid trellises entwined with ivy, or inside surrounded by local art and live music. Wherever you sit, the food is fantastic. Dexter's adds that extra oomph to its menu with beautifully-plated hearty portions and original creations. Try the citrus-marinated Thai chicken lettuce wraps, sweet-potato wrapped salmon or shrimp mufango. Salads are unbelievably delicious, particularly Peter's mahi and sun-dried cranberry salad with goat cheese and toasted pine nuts.
