The Scene
Bright and clean. Tile floors, upholstered wooden chairs and beach-themed wall murals set the stage for an open chrome kitchen where cooks whip up orders. Order at the counter, then nosh on complimentary chips and salsa from salsa bar.
The Food
Practically guilt-free--no MSG, lard, can openers, microwaves or freezers. The self-proclaimed ''fresh food fanatics'' behind BBK pride themselves on serving healthy, delicious food made from only the freshest ingredients. This means tacos, enchiladas, quesadillas, fajitas, tostado salads and giant burritos all filled with things like skinless chicken breast, lean steak and even, on request, fat-free sour cream and cheeses. Order the pesto burrito (filled with chargrilled chicken, plum tomatoes, Romano and mozzarella cheeses and pesto sauce); the portobello quesadilla (stuffed with sauteed portobello mushrooms and jack cheese); or the fish taco served ''Baja style'' (that's a fish filet lightly breaded and fried topped with shredded cabbage and a tangy cilantro-lime sauce).
