The Scene
Whispering Heaven presents you with a gorgeous Victorian interior, complete with antique furniture, silver, lace, and fine china. The tea is expertly brewed (gourmet coffee is also served), and the accompanying foods, including finger sandwiches, scones and other assorted pastries, fresh fruit, and a slew of other goodies, are always well-prepared.
To a Tea
Several times a year, the Tea Room puts on what it calls ''Themed Teas,'' which can include anything from a special tea-drinking celebration, such as Mother's Day, to dramatic performances. The twist is that it all ties into tea, one way or another.
Tea for Two (or more)
The Team Room also prides itself as a great place for gatherings, particularly bridal and baby showers, for which the lush interiors surely can make memorable. But the room also wants those who visit, and gather, to know that this is not a place for exclusiveness. Anyone is welcome to come here, escape the outside world for a while, and relish in the civility around them.
