The faux frankfurter on a fork looming over Heaven is one of central Florida's culinary landmarks. Three specialty dogs headline the menu: the Southern dog, dripping with tangy cole slaw; the Chicago dog, with onions, peppers, and relish; and the New York dog piled with onions and mustard. All are served in a red plastic basket brimming with fries and your choice of three side dishes. But all that is incidental. The lowly hot dog rules at this establishment, and it comes in more than a dozen variations, all available in regular-or jumbo-size. Wash it all down with a frothy root beer float or a tall, thick milkshake.
