In Short
Walk the plank into this restaurant that looks more like a shipwreck than a ship. But here's, it's not about the ambiance. It's about the oysters. Lee & Rick's, a family owned operation, has been shucking buckets of Apalachiola's finest eastern oysters for more than half a century. Grab a stool and sit at the cement bar where you can see the eatery's history in the thick layers of chipped paint. The menu is extremely limited--crab cakes, fried shrimp and little more--but the succulent mollusks are a must. Servers, who can crack them open faster than you can eat them, are friendly and remember faces.
