I'm an All-American, meat-and-potatoes, greasy-spoon loving girl, so if there's anything I know, it's diners. I've been to all that Miami has to offer, S&S,...read more

In Short
More Gables than Diner, this restaurant owes more to its tony surroundings than the greasy spoon imagery that its moniker may suggest. You won't find lobster ravioli, filet mignon, or shrimp quesadillas at a truck stop, that's for sure. The catch, of course, is that you can still order a plate of meatloaf or a sloppy Joe sandwich. Loaded with area workers by day and local families by night, it's a perfect portrait of Downtown Gables living. Whether you opt for the diner-like apple pie a la mode dessert or prefer a more haute cuisine closer like the pyramid-shaped Noisette with chocolate Ganache and hazelnut mousse, its all ultimately comfort food.
