In Short
A long way, both figuratively and literally, from the raging trendoid scene on South Beach, Sushi Maki is a low-key favorite of locals and window shoppers along busy Sunset Drive. Decor is minimal but personable. The restaurant specializes in all manner of rolled (''maki'') sushi, from vaguely traditional to boldly wacky. Some of the more interesting rolls are the spicy kimchee (conch, cucumber, spinach) and meal-in-one Spider (soft-shell crab, asparagus, cucumber, lettuce and mayonnaise).
