In Short
For more than 20 years, the spacious New York-style diner (decorated with travel posters and old photos of the homeland) has served up cheap Greek food. Specialties include gyro platters, a mammoth Greek salad with mounds of crumbled feta cheese, large wedges of spinach pie layered between fine sheets of phyllo dough and moussaka with dense layers of eggplant, potatoes and bits of chopped meat underneath a heavy egg-and-cream topping.
