In Short
The large, bright dining area is modest but tastefully decorated with pictures of Middle Eastern scenes on the white walls. The decor allows casually dressed and business-suited diners to feel right at home. The appetizer combination allows five starters, including stuffed grape leaves or baba ghanoush. Dishes such as foul medamas, a coarse puree of nutty-tasting dried fava beans, are delightful journeys to less-familiar gastronomic territory. Finish with the flaky baklava and bracing, cardamom-scented coffee.
