The Scene
This local landmark restaurant packs revelers in almost any night of the week. The brewery and dining room are separated so diners don't have to scream above the din of live music, and partygoers' spirits won't be dampened by a solemn dinner. The dining room has its own ''Cheers''-style bar and split-level seating that creates intimacy and a workout for the servers marching up and down the steps. Go early or be prepared to wait in the holding pen between the pub and the dining room.
The Food
The menu has New Orleans favorites like jambalaya, muffaletas, red beans and rice, blackened fish--and the atmosphere, especially on Saturday nights, does its Bourbon Street roots proud. If you're stuck waiting for a table, the coconut shrimp will tide you over. Fish entrees are reliably good, as is the Key lime cheesecake.
