The Scene
Just a stone's throw from the beach, this authentic Japanese sushi-and-steakhouse does a 180-degree turn from the sun-and-sand setting. It's slightly dark and mysterious, with the sounds of soft Japanese music piped through the dining room, broken occasionally by the sizzle of steak hitting a tableside grill.
The Food
The popular 28-foot-long sushi bar is a little piece of raw heaven, with more than 50 varieties. The mass consumption of California and tuna rolls is a testament to the freshness and quality of the sushi. A full menu of seafood, steak or chicken entrees are prepared with plenty of steel-knife fanfare at your teppanyaki (iron grill) table. The filet mignon and teriyaki chicken is always tender. The calamari is perfectly seared, with a hint of smokiness from the grill.
