The Scene
Kitschy, but low-key. Black and white tiles checkerboard the dining room, which also contains a number of faded-red vinyl booths and a few wooden tables. Behind it all looms a large mural of Atlantic City.
The Food
Heavenly pizza, with a crispy yet doughy New York-style crust, a tangy yet spicy sauce, and multitude of fresh toppings and cheese. The subs come loaded with ingredients and are served on freshly made bread. The calzones come stuffed to the brim. The pasta dishes are plentiful, enough for two.
What to Order
No matter what, get a slice of pizza, even if it's as an appetizer only. Crust fanatics should love the Double Dough, a two-inch thick Scicilian-style pie. The Philly Cheese Hoagie is one of the best in town. The Hippie Roll, a blend of veggies and meats rolled in pizza dough and baked golden brown, should satisfy any appetite.
