The Scene
Mirrored walls and a marble floor lend an Old-World opulence to this Italian pastry shop and bakery. Three enormous bakery cases display a comprehensive selection of savory and sweet delights, while a window full of elaborate wedding cakes make diners feel like celebrating.

The Food
Patrons could spend hours sampling the selection of baked goods and brightly colored imported Italian candies, but it's hard not to play favorites. Golden licorice-scented anisette toasts are simple and crisp without being brittle. Almond-packed biscotti are dense, crunchy and hold up well when dunked in coffee. Sweet fruit filling oozes enticingly out of oversized cherry turnovers sparkling with sugar crystals. Almost too pretty to eat, cheese Danish are elaborately folded, smeared with just the right amount of creamy cheese, then glazed and drizzled with white-sugar icing. Mozzicato also makes pan pizza to order for parties, and offers a wide selection of veggie and meat breads.
