In Short
Tiki torches, earth-toned walls with bright accents and reggae jams set the mood here. Friendly servers, and sometimes the owner-chef himself, guide guests through unfamiliar dishes, and Jamaica's spicy fare. Starters range from plantain wonton wraps with fruit chutney to seasoned beef swathed in a flaky pastry. Exotic entrees include jerk dishes--prepared for hours before the meal--or stewed oxtails with butter beans. For dessert, there's Key lime pie or rum raisin ice cream.
