In Short
Originally opened as Sommer's Sunken Garden in 1928, this dive has come to be Boulder's most beloved bar. Officially dubbed The Sink in 1949, the joint spent the '80s as a deli. Inside, low ceilings are autographed by thousands, and the walls are adorned with murals. The food is typical of many college hangouts: The feature menu item is the Ugly Crust pizza, which, as expected, comes with loads of greasy toppings.
