The Scene
The decor here features burnt-orange walls and a gathered-fabric ceiling that gives the feel of a beautiful and luxurious tent. The menu features tandoori chicken and vegetable pakoras with crisp exteriors. A soupy dal of yellow lentils is best poured over rice, with some sauce from the chicken curry. Naan bread sops up any remaining juice. The aloo sag--a dish of greens and potatoes--blends ginger, coriander and cardamom. For dessert, there's homemade yogurt with apples.
