The Scene
Black-and-white photographs of old Ireland hang next to vintage beer and cigarette ads at this Irish pub, where bartenders have been known to pour a thick pint of Guinness with a clover imprinted into the top of the beer's thick head. A portion of this generous-sized bar is reserved for dart players and pool sharks, while air-hockey players stick to the back room. Arrive early to reserve ''The Office,'' furnished with two couches and a coffee table; it's the perfect place to kick back and enjoy a view of the hardy drinkers at the tables and booths in the bar area. As the night creeps on, check out the clocks that tell the time in Boston, Dublin, Sydney and Santa Monica--because it's always drinking time somewhere.
