The Scene
Push aside the lush velvet curtain and enter la dolce vita. Exposed beams and a roaring fireplace call to mind an elegant ski lodge. With an extensive wine list and a knowledgeable staff expert in the dying art of service, no detail goes unnoticed.
The Food
Chef/owner Bruce Marder focuses on rustic Italian fare prepared with the most exquisite ingredients. Mushroom parpadelle is strewn with exotic morsels like porcini and wood ear mushrooms. The summer-fresh heirloom tomato salad maintains its vibrant texture and sweetness even in fall. Entree options inlcude steaks and chops, cooked over wood, and savory beef short ribs, braised in red wine. Desserts maintain the same standards of casual elegance with offerings like a creamy panna cotta and a candied bread pudding.
