The Scene
Located in the Pruneyard Shopping Center, this classic brewery offers plenty of warm woods and open seating. Families and couples banter over the meals in the expansive dining area, while a full-service patio area attracts a bustling singles crowd on warm nights.
The Food
Gourmet salads, burgers, sandwiches and steaks dominate the menu. Try the roasted garlic tenderloin, smoked fish and chips, and individual pizzas. The Monte Cristo sandwich is a decadent deep-fried monster, oozing with Swiss cheese. The beers--pales, reds, browns, stouts, lagers and specialty ales--are crafted on-site by the brewmaster. The Brown Bear Brown and the Raccoon Red are both well-balanced and malty. Also look for seasonal brews like the nice IPA.
