The Food
T-Birds cooks up some weird pizza combos as well as all the classics. The range extends from the Tequila (a meat lovers pie with pepperoni, salami, smoked ham, Italian sausage and Portuguese linguica) to the Sticky Fingers (mesquite grilled chicken marinated in barbecue sauce). Perhaps the weirdest offering is the La Bomba with its refried beans, cheddar cheese, red onions, chorizo, ground beef, sour cream, black olives and jalapenos (on request). Vegetarians will want to try the Peppermint Twist, which combines red onions, green peppers, zucchini, black olives, mushrooms and tomatoes. T-Birds makes somewhat of an effort to help us watch our waists by offering some plates for the waistline challenged. The Rolling Stones-inspired Ruby Tuesday and Satisfaction both offer low-fat cheese. I won't order either of those because, as the songs go, ''Goodbye Ruby Tuesday'' and ''I can't get no satisfaction.''
The Scene
Although T-Birds is mostly a take-out location, the small dining room does fill up with families and softball teams.
